Meet the Team
Sue Cook - Chief
Executive
Sue Cook joined the JA team in October 2009 as Chief Executive. She is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and prior to joining Junior Achievement worked as CEO for the Hamblin Employment Group.
Sue has held senior posts both here on the Island and in the UK and during her 19 years in the recruitment industry has helped hundreds of young people to get their first step on the career ladder. With her wealth of experience of the local jobs market she hopes to provide a greater link between education and employment.

Kirsty Coffey
- Programme Manager
Kirsty started working for Junior Achievement in 2004. She was educated on the Island and took part in the Company Programme at Ramsey Grammar School. When Kirsty joined JA it was know as Young Enterprise and focused only on the Company Programme for Year 12 students.
Kirsty has been responsible for introducing the classroom based programmes in both the Primary and Secondary Schools and running the Company Programme at Year 12. As the Junior Achievement team has grown Kirsty has chosen to focus on increasing the number of Primary Schools participating in Junior Achievement programmes.

Joy Spence - Programme Manager
Joy Spence
joined Junior Achievement in November 2010 as Programme Manager.
Prior to working for Junior Achievement Joy worked for 11
years for Hamblin Recruitment where she was a Senior Recruitment
Consultant, having previously spent 17 years in the island's travel
industry.
Working alongside fellow Programme Manager Kirsty Coffey, Joy is recruiting and delivering training to volunteers and liaising with Primary and Secondary Schools to co-ordinate JA programme delivery schedules. Manx-born Joy, a former Ballakermeen High School student, holds CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development) associate membership and has been a Youth Worker in the island for more than 20 years.

Tina Edge -
Fundraiser
Tina joined Junior Achievement in September 2010. She joins the
charity after a long career in the finance sector, most recently
with Fortis Prime Fund Solutions and before with Bank of Bermuda.
She had previously been involved in a voluntary capacity with
Manx Charity Aid since its inception in 2004.
