The mission of Junior Achievement is to use hands-on experiences to help young people understand the economics of life. In partnership with business and educators, Junior Achievement brings the real world to students and opens their minds to their potential.
Junior Achievement enterprise and economic education programmes are designed for young people ages 5-19 and are implemented through a partnership between local businesses and schools.
Evaluations show that enterprise education does stimulate entrepreneurship later on. The Junior Achievement Company Programme is recognised by the European Commission Enterprise Directorate General as a 'Best Practice in Entrepreneurship Education'.
Junior Achievement Isle of Man is part of JA-YE Europe which is the European Headquarters for Junior Achievement Worldwide.
