Career Launch Year 13

With the support of the Manx Lottery, Year 13 students who are leaving full time  education will be given the opportunity to have a bespoke mock interview and a
company visit in an industry of their choice.

The aim

Career Launch provides students who will be entering the workplace with an opportunity to explore industries on the Isle of Man.

Students will be given a 1-1 consultation with a member of the JA team. Once the individual has identified an industry they would like to explore they will be asked to submit a CV to JA.

JA will co-ordinate a mutually convenient time for the student to meet up with employer at their premises. During this meeting the student will have an informal
mock interview with the employer and will be given the opportunity to find out more about the industry they have chosen.

The employer will provide the student with helpful feedback on their interview technique and details about the types of roles available.
