Get a Job

In this programme Junior Achievement volunteers from the business community work with students to help them to understand how to apply for a job.

Get a Job has been designed to help young people navigate the complex recruitment and selection process used by employers.

Topics include: what employers look for when reviewing a job application, developing transferable skills for the workplace, what to include on a CV, finding and applying for a job, preparing for an interview, body language, questioning techniques and how to follow up after an interview.

At the end of the programme students watch an interview video and select which candidate should be offered the job.
