Age Range 13 – 14

In this programme students work with business volunteers who help them to make the link between education and the world of work.
They learn about their own personality traits and how this might influence the type of employment they are suited to.
Learn to Earn encourages students to explore their career choices, how to develop soft skills and transfer these to a working environment.
Students also look at the importance of work experience, acceptable behaviour in the workplace, minimum wage, budgeting and how to read a payslip.
This programme is supported by a Manx jobs booklet displaying careers available in the Isle of Man.
