Would you be the business mentor who helps inspire the next generation of entrepreneurs?
We're looking for business mentors and coaches to work alongside student teams taking part in our Company Programme in schools.
You dont need to have all the answers. In fact, you shouldn't! Your role is to be their guardian, sounding board and coach - someone calm, level-headed and patient who can help them navigate challenges, ask the right questions and encourage them to find their own solutions.
We’re looking for people who have:
• Real-world business experience in any industry
• Strong problem-solving skills
• A basic understanding of social media and how businesses use it
• A coaching or mentoring mindset
• Patience, calmness and the ability to keep things in perspective
• A genuine desire to help develop the next generation of talent
Perhaps you remember taking part in a similar programme when you were at school.
Maybe you are someone who has learned a lot through experience and wants to give something back.
You won’t be doing it for them. You’ll be helping them believe they can do it themselves.
Which schools?
We are looking for mentors for Ramsey Grammar, QEII and Castle Rushen High School.
Time commitment
1-2 hours each week on a Wednesday morning during term time from October to the end of March.
