Sue Cook, CEO of JA Isle of Man announced as the Suntera Global Leader of the Year 2023
On November 16th, more than 1,200 people came together to celebrate the Isle of Man Awards for Excellence. These awards recognise the success and contributions of companies, individuals, the public sector and charitable organisations.
A panel of twelve judges considered nominations for the ‘Leader of the Year’ award, revealed on the evening of the awards ceremony.
The judges considered six factors when choosing the recipient; these include integrity, fairness, enthusiasm, knowledge, endurance and decisiveness.
This year the honour of the Suntera Global Leader of the Year 2023 was awarded to Sue Cook, CEO of JA Isle of Man.
Sue said 'I had no idea I had been nominated for this award and it came as a complete surprise. It is lovely to be recognised for the work Junior Achievement has done to support young people in the Isle of Man'.
This recognition not only honours Sue's inspiring leadership but also acknowledges the dedication of our entire JA Team and the invaluable contribution of the third sector in the Isle of Man.
